Clinical Care

This appointment is for all clients new to Empowerment Mental Health who are looking to address perinatal/paternal mental health or hormone adjustment concerns.
Ali will explore what led you to scheduling the appointment. You will dive into psychological and social history, past and current medical history, past psychiatric treatment history if applicable, current symptoms and functioning, and review your goals for treatment. A psychiatric evaluation does not always lead to a medication prescription. The intent of a psychiatric evaluation is to explore each client's specific needs, diagnose, and formulate a collaborative treatment plan.
Of note - Due to being a fully virtual provider, Ali does not provide ADHD evaluations or treatment with stimulants. Here is a Psychology Today link for in person medication management providers in CO who diagnose and treat ADHD. Thank you for your understanding!

Provider Consulting

This session is meant to be a stepping stone for psychiatric providers who are interested in sub specializing in reproductive psychiatry including perinatal and women’s mental health.
During your hour consulting session you and Ali will go over your practice/clinical goals, discuss the pathway to PMH-C, training courses, client support and provider resources, recommendations, etc. and have time for Q&A.

Ali believes in collaborative care and she does not make medication decisions for you. Her goal is to provide you with evidence-based options to empower you to make choices about your care plan. Your follow up appointments will include discussing tools such as medication, lifestyle adjustments, coping skills, and brief psychotherapy, that can help you reach your treatment goals.

This session is meant to be a stepping stone for providers who are interested in transitioning to private practice.
During your consulting session you and Ali will go over steps for opening a private practice and in what general order, name, website, marketing, and business structure considerations, what outside help you'll need, etc.

This session is meant to be for clinical providers (psychiatrists, PCPs, OBGYNs, REIs, etc.) who desire case consultation for their own clients that fall into the reproductive psychiatry population.
No patient identifying information will be used for privacy protection.
During your half hour consulting session you and Ali will go over your specific clinical reproductive psychiatry case.
